Artist/CD Information

Franklyn Schaefer's debut CD titled: "Keep On Smiling" is a compilation of ten contemporary country songs that speak of important issues in his life and his religious beliefs, and portray them in such a beautiful way.

Schaefer portrays similar lyrical issues as those of Alan Jackson and Phil Vassar but expresses them uniquely—both musically and vocally.

Franklyn Schaefer's legal name is Frank Schaefer; he was born and raised in Wuppertal, Germany, and immigrated to the United States in 1990. Following studies at Valley Forge Christian College and Princeton Seminary, NJ, Schaefer became an ordained minister in the United Methodist church in 1996. He has served several United Methodist churches, all in Pennsylvania and also worked as a resident chaplain at the Penn State Milton Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, PA (2001/02). Rev. Schaefer is presently serving the Iona United Methodist Church in Iona, PA.
